This is an outdoor foraging and cooking session. Improve your wellbeing while connecting with nature.This is a foraging and cooking event supported by the Pots of Possibility fund.
For this event, our focus will be on the native stinging nettle.
You can expect:
- Local history, myth and medicinal use of plants
- Information on plant ecology and food webs
- A mindful foraging walk
As well as tricks and tips on cooking and creating and sharing a foraged meal with your community.
You will leave feeling inspired to use and cook foraged plants, as well to keep connecting (to nature).
- Refreshments will be provided
