Come celebrate spring with singing, circle dancing and community. We'll learn some simple chants from world traditions who celebrate this time of renewal and balance.
Certified leaders will patiently show us simple folk-dance type movements, some with partnering, some in reverence, all loving. No experience or partner required. You are most welcome.
Do you know that in addition to joining in the field of peace that exists around the globe and honoring many spiritual paths, you may also improve your health? Rhythmic breathing while singing, gently moving together to live music and learning new activities can help in your life beyond our meeting.
Susan Slack has been leading Dances of Universal Peace for over four decades. She was Certified in 1985 and was designated a Senior Mentor 2010. She is a musician, author and grandmother and will play drums.
Moses Meadow is a Certified leader and plays the zither. He also leads many other forms of dance, including contra, English and Balkan. And by day he teaches ecology at EMU's middle college.
