Spring Equinox Cacao Ceremony & Meditation

Woodingdean Methodist Church Hall | Brighton, EN

This Cacao Ceremony and guided journey meditation marks the Spring Equinox the halfway point between the Winter and Summer Solstices and the beginning of Spring.
Also known as the Vernal Equinox it is both an astronomical day and one of eight holidays (or Sabbats) recognised by the ancient Celtic people (and in other traditions & cultures too). It marks the light fully returning and a point where day and night are of equal length again. Equinoxes represent balance.
The Spring Equinox is all about rebirth & new beginnings as seeds sprout and life rejuvenates signifying fresh starts and renewal.
It is also a powerful time for change or growth of relationships (or starting new ones) and is also connected to fertility (of all things) and creativity.
It allows us to re-visit/re-set intentions from the beginning of the year or to set some for the first time.
At this event we will come together to give thanks to and drink the cacao along with some gentle grounding breathwork time to journal and draw an oracle card plus a guided journey meditation.
Exchange: £25 + allevents fee including ceremonial cacao drink & paired crystal tumblestone or mini crystal wand.
