Spring Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at King-Lincoln Park, 600 Jefferson Ave. This free event promises an afternoon filled with exciting attractions, engaging activities, and live performances for all ages.This year, attendees can look forward to the debut of the Sizzler—a thrilling ride that seats up to 36 guests and delivers nonstop excitement. Young adventurers will also love the Video Gamer Bus, 3-in-1 Game Trailer with prizes, and a variety of inflatables, Ruby & Ice, Fuego, and a rock-climbing slide. For animal lovers, pony rides, a petting zoo, and a demonstration by the Newport News Police Department’s K-9 unit will add to the fun. A Tree Truck will give away 200 trees while supplies last.
Families can meet the Easter Bunny, snap a photo in front of the Bunny’s House, and collect toy and candy-filled eggs from the Parks & Recreation information booth while supplies last. Additional giveaways can be collected along the Bunny Tail Trail, where local non-profits will offer candy, toys, and valuable community information while supplies last. Free spring-inspired activities include face painting, hair tinseling, and flower potting.
The entertainment line-up is sure to impress, with viral sensations King Moore and That Girl Lay Lay lighting up the stage alongside HYDEF dancers, DJs Mike Jones, and Wavy Dee. Top Shelf Steppaz will keep the energy high throughout the afternoon and lead everyone in the latest line dances.
A variety of food trucks will be on-site, serving up festival favorites, from classic hot dogs and pizza to international cuisine and sweet desserts.
