Spring Dance Concert 2023

The aptly named Spring Dance Concert, catapults student artists’ work on to the stage. The thesis work of Dance Majors’ Thesis and Independent Studies are showcased in a fully supported production on Schaeffer stage. Dance Majors cast their pieces in the beginning of the Winter Term and conduct a semester long rehearsal process complete with showings, feedback and collaboration with designers. A tremendous amount of effort is poured into these works of art from student artists all across campus, please join us in celebrating the accomplishments of the student artists as they bring together all of their artistic knowledge bringing the fullest expression of their artistry to stage.

Ticket sales close 1 hour before the event. A limited number of rush seats may available at the box office.

COVID SAFETY

CDC guidelines continue to change, and Bates College may shift policies accordingly. As of August 9, 2022, Bates is a mask-optional campus. In order to attend indoor events and programs, visitors must be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19, or have a negative COVID-19 test result within the previous 48 hours. The college may ask for proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster or negative COVID-19 test result during one’s time on campus.
