Spring Concert

The Capitol Pops is thrilled to invite the community to an unforgettable evening of music at our joint Spring Concert with the talented McClatchy High School Band, set to take place on April 2nd at 7:30pm at the newly renovated McClatchy High School Auditorium. This year’s program showcases a dynamic and diverse selection of works, promising an exciting performance for music lovers of all ages.

The concert will feature the exhilarating rhythms of Arturo Márquez’s Danzón No. 2, a masterpiece that has captivated audiences worldwide with its rich melodies and infectious Latin dance energy. Additionally, fans of Broadway will be delighted by selections from Wicked, the beloved musical that has enchanted theatergoers for decades. The evening will also highlight a show-stopping trumpet solo, La Virgen de la Macarena, a Spanish pasodoble that will spotlight the virtuosic talents of Abraham Heredia.
