League Dates: Monday's starting April 28th

Make sure to turn on notifications for the facebook group to see when teams post looking for last minute subs, etc.
*All teams play 2 games (2 hours) per night during regular season (example: your games will be either 6-8pm or 8-10pm) Each game is the best of 3 sets with the first two to 25 and the 3rd to 15. Certified Referee's will be provided for each game.
Cost: $672 per team; this includes 2 hours of play for 6 weeks of regular season plus a week of play off elimination (12 total games + minimum 1 play off game)
Play Offs: Single elimination (best of 3; upper & lower divisions). Teams are ranked weekly by their Games Won/Lost, 1st tie breaker is sets won/lost, 2nd tie breaker is total season points earned per set
Prize: League champions receive TBD Glassware Item & bragging rights
Level of Play: This is all 1 division. Players should be B/BB+, runs specific plays, has specialized positions, organized offense and defense, should be comparable to Steel City Comp/Power. **If members of your team are regular players in the IRON CITY Power Division, only 2-3 of them can play on a COMP team per night**

Rules & Regulations
-Full team sign ups only
-Each team can have up to 10 registered players. All players must be registered by April 15th but it is preferred to have everyone registered ASAP. Any team can use a rostered player as a sub from another team or someone from the sub list, but subs outside of the registrants are not permitted. If a team uses a sub from outside the league and another team turns them in, the team with the illegal sub will count as a loss for the game, no matter the outcome.
-Sets are scored to 25 (win by 2, cap at 27), rally scoring, high school rules
-All teams must have 6 players on the court at all times. 2 Players on court must be female. Without 6 players and 2 females the set is lost but still played.
-At least 1 female per team has to play in the front row during all games (example, a team of 7 can use 1 female all the way around and one as a libero. Teams are NOT permitted to sub out females to have 2 in the back row at all times with none ever rotating to front row)
-Type writing is not permitted.
-Liberos are permitted. The libero can stay on the court the entire time BUT must serve for both middles.
-Each team can use 1 time out per set.
-A player may NOT step on another court or area behind another court to play a ball; play is dead immediately.
-No body part may make contact with the net at any time during the game.
-Subs are permitted; one player can replace another player on the court--you cannot replace multiple players with the same sub.
-No food or drinks are permitted in the gym besides water.
-All players in the event must be 18+ with a signed waiver completed by April 15th 2025
