Spring clean up in North Hill!
We need volunteers to clean up the neighborhood and ready the local gardens and planters for spring plants.
This project will be held near Earth Day on April 20, 2024. We will convene at 9:00am at People's Park (760 Elma St. Akron) and then move in groups to clean up several areas in the neighborhood. No skill is necessary, but gloves are encouraged. Volunteers will clear dead foliage, plant spring bulbs, and clear debris and trash that may have accumulated during the winter at People's Park, Temple Square, the Howard Street Heritage Courtyard, and several planter boxes in the neighborhood. Up to 20 volunteers are needed for 2-3 hours. Email [email protected] to join this volunteer group!
