Welcome to our annual event, Spring Cleaning- Donate Necessities to Hucklebery House! The Daughters Den is supporting Huckleberry House
Items we need:
<h4>Clothing and Personal Items</h4>- Underwear
- Sweatpants (Youth M – Adult XXL)
- Sweatshirts (Youth M – Adult XXL)
- Shorts (Youth M – Adult XXL)
- T-shirts (Youth M – Adult XXL)
- Socks
- Wallets
- Earbuds
Please note that we are unable to accept any used clothing items.

- Adult coloring books
- Colored pencils
- Art supplies
- “Smell goods” (i.e. Bath & Body Works)
- Deodorant
- Shampoo and conditioner*
- Feminine hygiene products

The * denotes that the item must be in a full size bottle.

- Solid color twin comforters and sheet sets
- Kitchen utensils, general cleaning and laundry supplies, picture frames
- Non-perishable food items for youth outreach (crackers, cup of soup, fruit snacks, chips)
- Gift cards from $5 to $25 for fast food restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations

- A 24/7 Crisis Shelter offering a temporary safe place to stay for teens ages 12 to 17 including hot meals, a warm bed, and access to necessities like clothes and hygiene items
- A Transitional Living Program for young people, 18-24 years old, providing a safe place to live combined with a range of supportive services.
- A Counseling Center, with a team of therapists who specialize working with teens, young adults, and families to help solve even the most challenging problems.
- The Youth Outreach Program, a team of trained, professional staff that engage with youth to prevent homelessness and provide support and resources to increase stability.
is an intergenerational healing and trauma recovery space for Black women and girls. As a part of our "Princess Day Program" we support programs that provide access to resources that empower girls ages 8-18 to "Look Good, Feel good and Do Good". Throughout the year we focus on Den talks (with subject matter experts) and Zen in the Den activities as expressive therapuetic outlets for youth that are facing challenging problems. Donations of the items above and support of the services provided can positively impact the mental, emotional and social health these girls and thier peers.
