Spring Cleaning: Community herbs for easing your body into the Spring !

CELEBRATE EARTH MONTH W/ STEAM URBAN!

In this herbal workshop, Spring Cleaning led by Radical Educator Yaquana Williams, participants will learn about community herbs they can use to re-set their bodies and cleanse their lymphatic systems after a long winter. Participants will learn about the lymphatic system, why it is important, and the energetics of the spring time. Participants will then learn community herbs that are growing in Newark and surrounding cities in the spring and why they grow. We will utilize the Healing Sanctuary garden space and go over the properties of the herbs/weeds growing there. Participants will gain knowledge on how herbal teas can help to increase lymphatic movement and create herbal tea blends for body wellness.
