Spring Cleaning: 108 Sun Salutes + Soundbath

In yogic tradition, 108 sun salutations are performed to align the body, mind and begin with the coming season. Clear old stale energy and invite in the spirit of rebirth.

The number 108 can be observed in the ratios between the sun ,moon and earth, the subtle points of the human body, the sacred sites of India, even the diameter of Stonehenge. 108 represents the golden ratios of nature, heaven, earth, and is embodied within us all. This Equinoctial practice brings us into greater coherence with our individual sparks of divinity (the one-1) so that the false burns away (nothingness-0) and only what is pure, remains (the infinite-8)

This practice will take approximately 75 minutes, with a focus on twisting to facilitate digestion and elimination as these processes are cleansing and joyful. This practice will end with a sound bath so please plan to stay in sevasana and receive the healing vibrations of solfeggio frequencies.
