Take a trip into the sky with everything avian! Learn about the anatomy of birds, their amazing adaptations, how they migrate such great distances, and even how they nest. Explore the world of birds with hands on activities and awesome crafts.

March 21- Bird Basics

Explore ornithoptera: the order of birds! From their anatomy, place in the ecosystem, to how they fly- you’ll explore digestion by dissecting an owl pellet, make your own set of wings, and decorate your own brightly colored bird in this adventure in the sky!

March 22- Amazing Adaptations

Explore how bird bodies are different depending on their environment! From fast flying falcons to silent owls and fluttering hummingbirds- each animal has different wings, beaks, and claws to help them survive! Investigate these differences and learn what it takes to survive!

March 23- Migration Madness

The birds are coming back! Celebrate their journey and learn about how and why thousands of birds migrate through states, and sometimes countries, every year! Can you survive the journey?

March 24- Building Bird Homes

Leave your brick & mortar behind, all we need is some sticks and twigs to make a nest! Come grab a magnifying glass and explore the materials used to create bird nests! Then grab your own materials and make a home for our friends who are flying back!

March 25- Beautiful Birds

A one-day class covering science from the previous 4 days! Explore bird anatomy, adaptations, migration, and their homes in a series of hands-on explorations into the world of birds!
