About this Event
Join us for a fun-filled, family-friendly morning of birding and nature exploration at the beautiful Bald Rock Meadows! Whether you're an avid birdwatcher or just beginning, this free event is the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors and discover local wildlife.
Participants will journey along the scenic 2-mile Bluebird and Butterfly Trail, guided by two experienced field experts who will help identify birds, butterflies, and other wildlife along the way. Engaging activities throughout the walk will explore fascinating topics like bird migration and the art of nest-building.
🌿 New! Each participant will receive a free nature journal to collect stickers and jot down discoveries, making it a fun and interactive experience for all ages!
🔠Binoculars are encouraged for a closer look at wildlife, but not required. A limited number of kids' binoculars will be available to borrow.
Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to connect with nature—see you on the trail!
Please come prepared for a walk. Due to the nature of this event, we recommend hiking boots or sneakers with a good grip, as the trail is not paved, and uneven at times. Sunscreen and bugspray are also recommended. Please bring water. If you have a camera, feel free to bring that along too!
Please be advised that children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent. All ages welcome to join!
Sorry, pets are not allowed to attend this event.
Space is limited - please register in advance to secure your spot! Don't miss out!
We can't wait to see you there!
**Special recognition to Birds Georgia and WellBirds for their support and partnership.
