Join Us for a Spring Bird Walk with DC Bird Alliance!

Spot birds against spring blooms on this bird walk through the U.S. National Arboretum led by the DC Bird Alliance. Spring migration is upon us, and many intrepid voyagers are returning home for the season or stopping by the Arboretum on their way to further destinations. Join us to learn about bird migration and identification tips through the changing seasons.

Spaces are limited, so be sure to grab your tickets soon — we expect them to sell out quickly! 🦅

Important Notes

Please do not bring unregistered guests. If you are on the waitlist and have not received an email that a space has opened, unfortunately we're at capacity and can't add more to our flock for this walk.

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS: Bird walks are held in many weather conditions, including light rain or snow. If the FONA cancels the walk due to unsafe conditions or threat of inclement weather, you will be notified by email at least 2 hours before the walk. So please check before you head out.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Sunscreen / Sun Protection
  • Comfortable footwear to walk or hike.
  • Water and snacks.
  • If you have binoculars, please bring them. There will be some to borrow.

LOCATION: Meet your guide at the U.S. National Arboretum Visitor Center. Parking is available at the R Street Lot (2400 R Street NE).

REFUND POLICY: Full refunds are provided for refund requests received up to 3 days prior to the program date.
