Spring has sprung and many migratory birds have returned for the season! On each of the two bird walk days, experienced birders will lead us on a guided stroll to look for and listen to the many species of birds on the J2E Tree Farm. We will learn how to identify birds by sight and sound, and hear how landowners Dave and Sarah Ehlers are managing their woodland for both income and conservation.
The walk will be just over a mile on fairly flat mowed paths and gravel roads and will explore a variety of habitats including ponds, riparian areas with mixed hardwood & conifer forests, oak woodlands, upland prairie and coniferous forests. We hope you can join us and see which feathered friends we will discover this time!
