VIRTUAL PAYING FOR COLLEGE PRESENTATION

Parents and students are welcome to attend a paying for college presentation. Learn more about the elements of financial aid: applying for aid; free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); recommended financial aid resources scholarships, grants, student employment, and loans; and the next steps in securing financial assistance. All presented as a public service by Oakland University. For teen & adults.

TPL is holding a free digital format of SAT Practice Exam courtesy of the Troy Sylvan Learning Center. Bring your laptop, pencils, and a calculator. If you do not have a laptop you can borrow one of ours. Grades 9–12

COLLEGE ESSAY WRITING WORKSHOP
Wednesday, April 29 | 6–7 pm | Zoom
Learn how to think like an admissions officer to write a college essay that stands out! In this workshop, students will learn how to choose an excellent essay topic and learn the difference
between a good essay, and an exceptional, competitive essay. Students and families will have an opportunity to ask questions about college essays and their role in the admissions process. For teens grades 9–12 & parents.
