Spring 2024 Open Studio

March 19th – May 11th

DESCRIPTION:

Open Studio is for students who have taken classes with us before and would like to work independently. This option is for artists who are experienced in clay or students who have taken at least one 6-8 week class at the Concho Clay Studio as it is not guided by an instructor and participants are expected to be self-sufficient in their understanding of clay, tools, glazes, and other materials.

Tuesdays 10am-2pm

Wednesdays 10am-2pm

Thursdays 10am-2pm

Fridays 10am-3pm & 4pm-9pm

Saturdays 10am-2pm

*Open Studio may Occassionally be unavailable if CCS is offering a Workshop or for Special Events

IMPORTANT:

Open Studio access is included in all 6-8 week courses - if you are signed up for one of these classes, you do not need to register for open studio.

Tools are provided during open studio. All clay must be purchased from the studio. Firings and access to glazes are included. Only studio approved glazes provided are permitted to be used. There are no demonstrations for this and no instructor.Staff will be available for questions or concerns as needed by students and members.

There are no discounted or prorated options for open studio passes if you sign up later in the session.

PLEASE NOTE:

Open Studio is for adults 18 years or older. Students of 16 years or above may access the studio if accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also registered. If you are interested in children's programming, please visit https://www.samfa.org/education-at-samfa.

Only one ticket may be purchased at a time. Please use the name and contact information for the student taking the course if you are purchasing a ticket for another person.

REFUND POLICY:

We determine refunds on a case-by-case basis. Our policy does not take attendance into consideration. All Eventbrite fees are non-refundable. Please email [email protected] to request a refund.

Up to 48 hours Before the session start date: 100%

48 hours to the Beginning of the first session: 75%

No refunds are given for open studio after the session begins. We can offer credits toward other classes or future open studio sessions.

No discounts are offered for partial attendance.
