This reception is intended for new parents and families. If you have a kiddo under 1 year old, this reception is for you!
Sorting Soirées and Volunteering
Additionally, we are happy to announce that we have brought back small sorting soirées! This is a great opportunity to meet other parents and families in a small setting and help out the HY-Swap at the same time. To host the soirées, we will need a ton of help! Please check out the volunteer sign-up link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E044EABAA23A5FD0-49037375-2024) and sign up for sorting soirées, set up, shopping assistance and break down. No amount of time is too small, it all makes an impact. If your schedule is unknown you can always just stop by and help for as long as you can.
We will also need volunteers to bring donations from the drop sites to be sorted. You can email [email protected] if you are interested in helping with that.
Donations
We will be accepting items from April 8-28 at drop site locations around Hyattsville. Please email HY-Swap for the locations.
Please feel free to drop your items on the porches at these addresses, and the Hy-Swap community volunteers will take it from there! We do ask that you pre-sort your items and note that we will not be accepting any large items (high chairs, cribs, mattresses, etc). We will only be accepting donations from April 8-28th but NO donations will be accepted at the HY-Swap event.

Clasificación de veladas y voluntariado
¡Además, estamos felices de anunciar que hemos vuelto a traer pequeñas veladas de clasificación! Esta es una gran oportunidad para conocer a otros padres y familias en un entorno pequeño y ayudar a HY-Swap al mismo tiempo. Para organizar las veladas, ¡necesitaremos mucha ayuda!
