A social justice workshop
About this Event

The workshop aims to help participants: write, edit and get performance ready with a poetic affirmation of self and of community, by speaking positive change to themselves and the foreseeable future. After having gone through the other workshops, participants can identify a place within the community where they feel they can best serve
and belong.
Through this process of self discovery, they can find places to activate with good deeds and
find self-care exercises and writing exercises where they can: Affirm themselves, advocate for others and Activate in community to improve the quality of life for all. It's not enough to address the problems and concerns or call out issues, but speak forth positive solutions to
problems we face in society and think of ways to become a part of that solution.
