Join us for the launch of our brand-new Spotlight Series, where we step away from broad country overviews to put a single, extraordinary grape under the microscope. To kick things off, and in celebration of German Wine Month, we are diving headfirst into the ultimate terroir-hunter and arguably the world’s greatest white grape: Riesling.

We will journey through Germany’s most dramatic viticultural landscapes. We'll scale the dizzyingly steep, slate-strewn slopes of the Mosel, explore the sun-drenched, warmer terraces of the Pfalz, and taste the crystalline elegance of the Nahe. Together, we will unravel the German classification system, from crisp, bone-dry expressions to the rare, intensely sweet nectars of the late harvests.

Whether you are a devoted Riesling fanatic or a sceptic waiting to be converted, this session promises to change the way you look at this grape, one spectacular glass at a time.

What to Expect

• The Flight: A strictly curated masterclass of 6 wines highlighting Riesling's incredible range. We will explore dry (Trocken), off-dry (Feinherb), elegant late-harvest styles (Spätlese or Auslese), all the way to a rare, noble-rot dessert wine (Beerenauslese). We might even sneak in a traditional sparkling Sekt to start!
• The Pairings: Carefully selected regional German and European cheeses, alongside artisanal charcuterie and savory accompaniments designed to showcase how seamlessly Riesling pairs with food.
• The Welcome: A refreshing aperitivo to awaken the palate and introduce the evening's themes.
• The Setting: An intimate, highly educational and social evening limited to just 15 guests around our tasting table.

• Cancellations up to 24 hours before the event: Tickets can be transferred to another tasting at the same store or used as store credit, valid for 3 months.
• Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows: Tickets are non-convertible.
