At the heart of the Mid-Valley Literacy Center is a passionate commitment to changing lives. We don't just teach reading; we unlock our students' full potential through uniquely tailored small classes, with our team of volunteer tutors, specifically designed for adult learners. Our program doesn't just open doors—it builds futures, empowering students who, in turn, uplift our entire community through the power of adult literacy. Come and hear their inspiring stories! You'll also meet our dedicated leadership, including our new Executive Director! She will have the honor of introducing the legendary Danny Santos, winner of our 1st Trailblazer award, who will reveal this year's recipient! Be prepared to support MVLC on a whole new level!

For 15 years, MVLC has served 400+ adult learners annually across Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties through volunteer-led programs in ESL instruction, GED preparation, and workplace literacy.

This is our first year celebrating with an elevated Great Gatsby Gala theme – join us for an evening you won't forget!
