About this Event
The SportsTech Africa Forum will be the first of its kind on the African continent. The event is aimed at the following key strategic outcomes:
- To create dialogue among global sports executives about what Africa has to offer to the world of sports and sharing best practices for the business of sport;
- Educate and inspire the next generation of sports professionals on the African continent;
- Showcase African sports technology entrepreneurs to potential investors, business collaborators and clients.
On 25 February 2023 Cape Town will host an ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Cape Town E-Prix event for the first time in sub-Saharan Africa. SportsTech Africa will host The Forum as a lead up event to the Cape Town E-Prix.
The Forum will be the premier sports business and technology conference on the African continent for a global audience of sports professionals.
The Forum will feature keynote speeches on the business of sports, addressing sports revenue channels, sports business models, fan engagement, private equity investments, sports real estate development, sports technology exhibitions and the launch of the SportsTech Africa Accelerator.
