Good morning everyone. Some great news to share as we have managed to secure a fantastic fund raising opportunity for the cricket club. The one and only, Aussie cricket legend Merv Hughes has agreed to come and speak at a sportsman’s dinner at the club on Sunday 21st July. This is a fantastic opportunity for the club to raise some much needed funds but we need your help. We are looking for sponsors for the event alongside raffle and silent auction prizes. If you can help or know of anyone who might be able to support the event please contact Ian Taylor (07778 005864) or Tom Jones (07952273795) - all offers big or small are welcome. Finally we need you all to get behind the event to make it a success. Tickets for the dinner will be £35 per head, so please invite partners, friends and family so we can fill the function room. If every cricket section filled at least one table it would be a great start. Your club needs you and all funds raised will go towards providing cricket with much needed resources.
