Join Samy’s Camera in Los Angeles for a special presentation with Robert Mora, Chief Team Photographer for the LA Galaxy, SanDisk Ambassador, educator, and veteran sports, entertainment, and commercial photographer.
With a multi-decade career spanning professional sports, major entertainment venues, and global advertising campaigns, Robert has photographed championship teams, world-class athletes, live events, and commercial projects for brands including Nike, Adidas, American Express, MGM Resorts, Warner Bros., and more. His career includes work with the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Kings, Getty Images, the LA Galaxy, Honda Center, and Dolby Theatre.
During this presentation, Robert will share stories from his career, walk through examples of his images, and discuss the preparation, workflow, and creative decision-making behind his work. Attendees will learn how Robert gets ready for high-pressure shoots, how he approaches sports and event photography, and the tips, tricks, and techniques he uses to consistently capture powerful images.
Robert will also discuss his process before, during, and after a shoot, including how he plans for an assignment, manages his gear, approaches lighting and composition, edits his work, and builds an efficient professional workflow.

Bio:
Robert Mora is a professional photographer and educator whose multi-decade career is defined by a commitment to creative and technical excellence across professional sports, entertainment, and commercial advertising industries. An alumnus and current instructor at the Art Center College of Design, his early career included an apprenticeship under NBA Hall of Fame photographer Andrew D. Bernstein, leading to prominent roles as a team photographer for the Los Angeles Lakers and Kings, as well as a Staff Photographer for Getty Images. Since launching his business in 2003, he has captured high-profile events and collaborated with global brands such as Nike, Adidas, American Express, MGM Resorts, and Warner Bros. A photographer for six championship teams, he currently serves in his twentieth season as the Chief Team Photographer for the LA Galaxy, House Photographer for the Honda Center & Dolby Theatre, and is a SanDisk Ambassador. As a founding member of Fieldwork Education, he continues to dedicate his technical expertise towards mentoring the next generation of visual storytellers.
