Sports Camp 2023 Volunteer Registration

This registration is for JUNE 12th - JUNE 16th at the Summit Church University Campus. 

We hope that you will join our team in representing Christ to our Sports Camp Kids this year!

- Please complete the registration after selecting a ticket

- Volunteers are upcoming 9th graders to adults

- Volunteers are required to be at camp from 7:45 am - 1:00 pm on the days they serve

- You can serve 1 day or all 5 days of a camp week

- Breakfast will be available each day from 7:30 am - 8:00 am

Will there be childcare for my Infant - Pre-K children while I serve?

Yes!  

• Be sure to indicate your need for infant-kindergarten childcare on your online registration form.
• We will have a team of childcare volunteers in place and fun activities for your kids to participate in each day.

What does a Small Group Leader do?

Small Group Leaders lead a group of 10 kids throughout the camp. They cheer them on as they participate in their sport, experience the rally (worship and teaching) time with their group, and facilitate a daily small group discussion time that helps reinforce what was taught during the rally. 

What do I do with my camper-aged children while I'm in the 8:00 am leader meeting?

• If you are a parent volunteer:  Bring your camper kids with you to the 8:00 am leader meeting. You can get them settled into their "drop off" locations with their group leaders in the sanctuary before the kids from the community arrive at 9:00 am. (Note: This is for your biological or foster children only. You should not be bringing your friends' children with you).

• If you are a youth volunteer (younger than 18): Your parents will need to bring your camper-aged siblings at 9:00 am for drop off.

Can I lead my child's sports group?

Yes, you can. Indicate your desire to lead your child's group on your online registration form and provide us with their name, grade, and sport.

Can I modify/cut my camp T-shirt?

No. Violators will be assigned to lead groups of naughty kids in sweaty outdoor sports.  :-)   (Seriously though, please don't do it!  We want our leaders to represent Christ well with a professional appearance). 

Can I get service-learning hours from being a camp volunteer?

Yes, all unpaid volunteers are eligible to receive 5 hours of service-learning hours per day. (We will have a letter available on the last day of camp that verifies your hours. Please ask for it).
