Over the past 12 years, SfG New Orleans has been a global leader in demonstrating how sport can be a powerful tool for youth development and social impact. Together, we’ve built something truly special. We’ve made significant impact locally while showing communities around the world what’s possible when organizations come together around a shared purpose. We’ve formed lasting partnerships and positively impacted thousands of young people, coaches, and families, which makes what comes next both significant and deeply personal.

As we look toward the future, Laureus USA will begin a thoughtful transition of the Sport for Good New Orleans initiative over the next 10 months. While the formal coalition model is transitioning, our commitment to New Orleans remains. Laureus USA remains deeply invested in this community, and we expect to continue supporting the city, our partners, and opportunities to advance youth development through sport in meaningful ways.

More importantly, the strength of the Sport for Good New Orleans has never been defined by a single project or organization. It has always been rooted in the people, partnerships, and trust we’ve built together, and in the broader youth development ecosystem across the city. As we navigate this transition together, we want to create space to answer questions, hear your thoughts, and work collaboratively on what comes next.
