SpoQuality Monthly Meetup — July Lean Coffee
About this Event
For the uninitiated: Lean Coffee is a structured but agenda-less meeting format where you bring the topics. We'll vote on what to discuss, set a timer, and let the conversation flow. It's part networking, part group therapy, part industry deep-dive, and always a worthwhile time.
Whether you're wrestling with AI's impact on your team, navigating a testing strategy that keeps changing under your feet, curious what others are doing to stay sharp, or just want to connect with local folks who care about building quality software, this is your room.
We have a room reserved at Zola's and there will be a sign so you can find us easily when you walk in.
Bring:
- A topic (or three) you want to put on the board
- Your questions, frustrations, wins, and ideas
- A friend or colleague who should probably be here too
Grab a drink, pull up a chair, and let's talk shop. Spokane's tech community is better when we're in the room together.

Lean Coffee - Create Topics
Info: Everyone will be provided with sticky notes and a pen to write a topic idea or question for discussion. One per sticky note. Topics are encouraged to be in the software and product development space, but can be whatever is top of mind to discuss with this group.

Lean Coffee - Vote On Topics
Info: Everyone is given 3 votes to distribute across suggested topics. They can be put on 3 different sticky notes, 2 on one and 1 on another, or all 3 weighted on a single sticky note. Once everyone has voted, the sticky notes will be sorted by number of votes.

Lean Coffee - Discussion
Info: A sticky note will be pulled for discussion, starting with the highest voted topic and working our way down to the lowest voted topic until we run out of time. If the sticky note pulled is your topic, you will be given the opportunity to speak to it before open discussion. Each topic gets 5 minutes, with the opportunity to extend an extra 5 minutes if the group wishes because the discussion is going well.
