Watch your drawings shrink into magical Halloween charms!
In this fun and creative workshop, you'll design your own charms using special shrink plastic. Draw, color, and cut out your spooky designs, then watch them transform in the oven into tiny, durable keepsakes. Perfect for making keychains, earrings, bookmarks, bag charms, or gifts!
What You'll Make:
Each participant will create 3–5 Shrinky-Dink charms. Choose from Halloween-themed templates or design your own from scratch. Add a jump ring and chain or keychain hardware to turn your charms into wearable or usable art.

Ticket Information:
This event is open to adults and children ages 8 and up. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult or a responsible adult chaperone.

Info: A warm welcome to Artsome and a brief overview of the Shrinky-Dink process. We'll show examples of finished charms, explain how the shrinking works, and go over all materials (plastic sheets, colored pencils, paint markers, and cutting tools).

Design Your Charms
Info: Participants will sketch and color their charm designs on Shrinky-Dink plastic. We'll share tips on sizing (remember, they shrink to about 1/3 of the original size!), color choices, and how to plan for keychains, earrings, or bookmarks. Info: Carefully cut out your designs and punch holes where needed for jump rings or keychain hardware. We'll guide everyone on safe cutting techniques and offer assistance for younger participants.

Info: We'll guide everyone through the grouting process to fill the gaps between tiles. Participants will learn how to apply, spread, and clean excess grout for a professional-looking finish.
