In October, it only makes sense to hold Spooky Season Trivia.On Wednesday October 2, Bierock hosts a twin-bill of Trivia with Hocus Pocus and Donnie Darko.
Customers can expect their knowledge tested on the characters, actors, music, plot and other minutiae.
Each half of trivia will focus on one of the movies. If you know who the Sanderson sisters and Frank are, you’re in the right place.
Obviously other than a vague spooky theme tying the theme together, the movies are quite different. One is a comedic fantasy and the other a psychological thriller.
The vast majority of questions will come from the original films, but a minority of questions from their larger franchises may be included.
Prizes will be awarded up to first, second and third place, depending on attendance.
The size of teams is unlimited. Customers can feel free to compete as an individual or a larger group.
But keep in mind that Bierock does not take reservations. Tables, booths and bar seating will occur first come, first served basis.
So come out and try your hand at theme trivia in Madison, Spooky-style.
The full food and beer menu will be available on Wed. Oct. 2.

Theme trivia is part of our Hump Day at Bierock series of events, which will happen the first Wednesday of every month.
