Are owls really wise? Do vultures deserve their rotten reputation? Why have crows been associated with death and mystery for centuries? Join us at the Bluebird Barn to separate fact from folklore as we explore the fascinating world of owls, vultures, and crows. We’ll examine real bird biofacts—including skulls and wings—and take a closer look at owl pellets to discover the science behind some of the myths surrounding these often-misunderstood birds.
This program is recommended for all ages. Please meet at the Bluebird Barn at 4:00 pm. This is an indoor, seated program and will not include a hike. The program will include a presentation, hands-on examination of bird biofacts, and an opportunity to explore owl pellets.
This is a free program, but please consider making a donation to Seven Islands State Birding park. Children under 5 are free with a paying adult.
Pets are not allowed on programs, except service animals.
