ANOTHER DATE FOR YOUR DIARY!Cavallo Coffee Box Sponsored Walk II
Saturday 30th August 2025.
A shorter, easier sponsored walk than the May one. This walk takes us around the Castleshaw Valley with a stop/tour of the Roman Fort. This mile is about 2.5 miles.
As ever, we start with coffee and croissants at Cavallo’s before leaving and we return to a lovely afternoon tea with Prosecco!
The cost is £12.50 to cover the food, then we ask you to raise a minimum of £20 in sponsorship. This walk will raise funds for Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team again, who also cover our moor (we have already raised £1250 for Oldham mountain rescue this year). Please message to enter. Entries close on the Thursday prior to the walk. Sponsorship doesn’t need to be collected until a couple of weeks after the walk, which gives you a little more time!
