Sponge Kingdom: 30th Anniversary Reunion — One Night Only
About this Event
Some reunions are worth the wait — and thirty years is one hell of a wait.
Sponge Kingdom is coming home to Boulder for a single, celebratory night at Roots Music Project, and this is exactly the kind of show you'll be talking about for years. The six-piece group that packed Colorado's legendary venues, earned serious radio love, and performed on a global stage is back together — older, yes, but absolutely still bringing it.
This is a one-night-only event. There are no second chances, no rain dates, and no "I'll catch them next time." July 18th is the night.
Doors 7:00pm. Show 8:30pm
Full bar on premises; Plenty of free parking; Lyft and Uber friendly!
About Sponge Kingdom:
Throughout the 90's, Sponge Kingdom developed a strong following throughout Colorado and across the country. Frequent headliners at the Fox and Boulder Theaters, the six piece group released their self-titled CD in 1995 and received considerable airplay on KBCO radio in Boulder. In 1996 the group headlined Denver’s First Night on New Year’s Eve, playing to a crowd of over 10,000. Later that year they performed a special event concert in Atlanta for the 1996 Olympic Games.
