In this “Love” workshop, the first in the Spoken Voices series, FLOET will share some inspirational spoken word poets and performances related to love, you’ll have some time to write on your own, and then the group will share what they created. The Saginaw Spoken Voices Poetry Project includes creative workshops, revision support, and performance guidance. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just starting out, there’s a place for you in the Spoken Voices community. Spoken Voices Events are free, but registration is required. Participants must be 18 or accompanied by an adult. The project is funded by an SVSU Foundation Community Engagement grant.
