Entry is just $5 for everyone.
Grab your mates, bring the whÄnau, or rock up solo - the whole event is all about fun. Swim, float, dance, challenge someone to a game, or simply enjoy the summer atmosphere. Whether you're splashing in or lounging out, itâs your night to make waves.

Our Community Pools Splash Bash parties are all about celebrating the end of each school term with a burst of fun, music, and good vibes - and everyoneâs invited.
These events happen on the last Saturday before the school holidays each term, and the party rotates across our Community Pools: Freyberg (or Thorndon), Tawa, Karori, and Keith Spry.
Each venue brings its own flavour, and every Splash Bash feels a little different - but always full of energy.
For 2026, here are your Splash Bash dates with pool locations to be confirmed: 28 March (Thorndon Pool), 27 June, 19 September, 12 December
