Splash Bash 2026

On Friday, October 23rd, join us at SmogShoppe in Los Angeles for our 2026 Splash Bash Gala celebrating two decades of partnership, progress, and transformation in Samburu!

The evening begins with a garden-lit happy hour, Kenyan marketplace shopping, passed hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and a silent auction, followed by dinner with inspiring speakers, powerful videos, and an incredible live auction. The night will feature live drumming enternmainment by Balandugu Kan.

More than a gala, Splash Bash is a reunion of donors, advocates, partners, and friends from around the world who have made 20 years of impact possible.

THE INSPIRATION

For 20 years, The Samburu Project has been part of a remarkable story of partnership, perseverance, and possibility. What began in 2006 as a commitment to bring clean water to northern Kenya has grown into something far greater than we could have imagined. Along the way, we have celebrated milestones, overcome challenges, and witnessed communities transform their own futures in ways that continue to inspire us.

Over two decades, we have seen children grow up with opportunities their parents never had. We have watched villages invest in education, health, and livelihoods, and celebrated alongside community leaders, teachers, mothers, and students whose vision and determination continue to shape the future of Samburu. As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we reflect not only on what has been accomplished, but on the thousands of people who made it possible - our supporters, partners, and the communities who welcomed us as collaborators and friends.

Twenty years of impact is more than a celebration of the past. It is a celebration of what can happen when people come together with a shared belief that lasting change is possible.
