If you are a yoga teacher interested in learning more about teaching in the addiction recovery community- at treatment centers or yoga studios- then join us as @Jacobdaffner leads through this heartfelt training. We give you tools and techniques that will help you be more effective and confident in the field.

Teaching in a recovery atmosphere, especially an inpatient or detox facility, is unlike any studio, and oftentimes is not something discussed in a standard 200hr Yoga Teacher Training.
.
Some of the aspects we will cover in our training include:
- Going over dialogue and phrasing to make the class more applicable to those in recovery.
- How to include recovery principles and information in your classes.
- Provide you with poses and sequences that will assist people in early recovery. (Expediting the acute and post-acute withdrawal process by helping students heal and feel better quicker.)
- Room management, which is very different and sometimes challenging with people new to recovery and new to yoga.
- Techniques on how to interact with and encourage people that are new or resistant to being there.
- The basic guidelines to HIPAA
- Tips on how to market yourself and/or start your own classes.

The training will be held at Spiritually Fit Co-Op in Scottsdale, AZ on June 29th & 30th, 2024.
Pricing
$350 for the 10 hour training, $300 if paid in full before June 9th
