Spirits of the Lowcountry
A long-time favorite of Circa 1886’s annual Dickens Dinner, Tim Lowry returns to bring the rich folklore of the Lowcountry to life. Drawing from The Doctor to the Dead by Charleston Renaissance author John Bennett, his performance weaves haunting and lyrical tales shaped by African and Gullah Geechee traditions—stories whispered through generations and rooted in Charleston’s past.
Paired with a thoughtfully curated multi-course dinner by Executive Chef Marc Collins, this immersive evening is a celebration of history, mystery, and the art of storytelling set within one of Charleston’s most storied dining rooms.
