Format:• Two separate eating competitions will be held.
• Teams will be formed after the registration process is complete.
Registration:
• The entry fee is $10 per person.
• Advance payment by cash is encouraged.
• Participants must be present at registration to secure their spot.
Prizes:
• Group Winner: Each winning team will receive a cash prize of $200 and a trophy.
• Best Form: One team will be awarded a trophy and an additional prize (to be announced) for demonstrating the most impressive competitive eating technique.
• Crowd Favorite: The crowd will vote for their favorite team, who will receive a trophy and an additional prize (to be announced).
Here is a set of rules for a hot dog eating contest with a 10-minute time limit:
General Rules
• Each team will be required to have a designated counter to track their consumption.
• If a team does not have a counter, one will be provided for them.
• Participants arriving after 2:00 pm will forfeit their entry fee and their spot will be filled by a standby contestant.
• Contestants must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
• All participants must sign a waiver before the competition.
The Competition
• Each contestant will be provided with hot dogs and buns on plates.
• Contestants may not touch the hot dogs until the official starting signal.
• Only whole hot dogs (including the bun) will be counted as eaten.
• Condiments will not be provided, but contestants may bring their own (optional).
• Beverages are allowed to aid consumption. But only water will be provided.
• Contestants may dunk their hot dogs in water to soften the bun, but dunking time is limited (e.g., 5 seconds).
Timing and Scoring
• The competition will last for 10 minutes.
• The contestant who eats the most whole hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes will be the winner.
• In case of a tie, a tie-breaker round will be conducted with an additional set of hot dogs.
Disqualification
• Vomiting at any time during the competition will result in disqualification.
• Any contestant who exhibits unsportsmanlike conduct will be disqualified.
• Contestants may not take hot dogs or buns out of the designated eating area.
