About this Event

Do you like rum, but want to know more about it – the different styles is which it has been made, the flavors in the spirits, the history behind it? Join culinary historian Richard Foss, author of "Rum: A Global History" for an afternoon of enjoying sipping rums, paired snacks, and education. A this seminar you'll try five different styles of rum, learn their history, and discover ways of pairing them that are informed by tradition and culture. This event will be useful for everyone from casual enthusiasts to professional bartenders who would like to learn the stories behind the drink.

This event is limited to 26 participants, and the rum and food samples will be on trays on every other chair, so there will be some distance between participants. This event is open to people who are vaccinated only, no exceptions, and all persons in attendance must be over 21.
