With few international rules to govern its productions, the styles of rum are manifold - as diverse as the regions that produce them.
In this class, Evan Christie will take you on an exploration of rum and its many guises around the world. You will taste rums from places you would expect and places you would not even guess are making rum. Some will be rich and decadent, others crisp and clean, and still others funky and unusual, and along the way, you will learn how the simple sugarcane plant can produce spirits of such enormous variety.
