Join us for a summer of intimate gatherings, inspiring sessions, and powerful storytelling curated to empower your inner child and foster a beautiful sense of sisterhood.

SHOWCASE: My Name, My Nature Poetry Pop Up at ArtFullWalls Gallery, Harlem

Join us for a heartfelt SHOWCASE;"MY NAME, MY NATURE". Created to foster authentic expression this all-ages session takes place at the vibrant , nestled amongst historic brownstones and a rich cultural landscape. 

It is an invitation to explore your unique voice and experiment with expression through poetry and spoken word in a supportive environment.

This event is guided by community artist Toni Short, whose passion for creating spaces of authentic connection and profound self-discovery shines through in her mission: In ART WE HEAL.

The evening will begin with a grounding meditation, followed by guided prompts for journaling and poem creation. The space then opens into a community open mic, where you can share your new creations (poetry or other forms of spoken expression), or simply listen and be inspired. 

Gallery guests are welcome to come and go as the evening moves them and participation is welcomed at any time. 

The Purpose: An outlet for expressing your personal journey to offer insight into collectively remembering the universal experiences humans share. A chance to experiment by creating "in the moment" without judgment, embracing spontaneous moments and abstract ideas. Through this exploration, you can gain clarity, new perspectives, and a deeper understanding of your inner and outer world.

The Benefits: Deepen your connection with your personal identity and nature, explore universal connections to family, heritage, earth, and the cosmos, celebrate human expression, and witness others with community.

A Spirit Sister Stories journal & pen will be gifted to first 20 participants.
