Come join the Spirit of Independence Band for a fun Christmas concert on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 7:00 pm at the Truman Memorial Building at 416 W Maple in Independence.
We will feature our trumpet section on an 8 part trumpet Star Spangled Banner, followed by some fun band tunes including Fum, Fum, Fum, arr Chip Davis/Longfield, Yuletide Flourish by A Carter, Breath of Heaven, arr Jay Dawson, Mary's Little Boy Child by Hairston/arr Kerchner, and The Hallelujah Chorus, arr A Glover.
We will also have the Kansas City Dance Collective children and adult troupes dancing to several tunes as well as a special visit from Santa!
The concert is free and open to the public and all are welcome!
