2024 Community Art Show!The Spirit Lake Arts 3rd Annual Community Art Show will be held the entire month of February. It will be held at 3rd Street Nutrition, 112 3rd Street, Baraboo from Thursday, February 1 - Thursday, February 29, 2024. The show features Baraboo area artists exhibiting multiple media.
The show is open business hours of 3rd Street Nutrition, M-F 7 am - 3 pm, Sat 9 am - 2 pm, plus Friday Feb Opening Reception February 2 from 6pm-8pm.
The first 50 artists or artworks entered will be included in the show. Please submit your preferred piece as Entry #1, if space allows Entry #2 will be included in the show. The following is information you will need if you plan to enter artwork.
-The following guidelines for the artwork entered are required:
Family friendly
No political statements
No profanity
No violence
-Applications are on our website, https://spiritlakearts.square.site
The application on the website is both a word and pdf document. Please submit emails to Nancy Blake by deadline Monday, January 22.
-If artwork is for sale, the item will be labeled with the contact information artists provide. Customers will contact artists directly by phone or email. Artists will receive 100% of the selling price.
-Deliver artwork to 112 3rd Street between 9am-noon on Thursday, February 1. Pieces must be ready to hang or display. If you need to make other arrangements, please contact Nancy Blake at [email protected]
-An opening reception will be held on Friday, February 2 from 6pm-8pm. There will be a 1st Place $100 cash award in both Fine Art and Fine Craft categories. These will be presented at 7pm that evening. Please try to attend to greet guests, talk about your work, and meet other local artists.
- Artwork needs to remain in exhibit the full month. Artwork will need to be picked up on Thursday, February 29 at 3rd Street Nutrition between 9am and noon.
