Spirit Animal Bobble Head Puppets

Welcome to Part 2 of D.L. Tucker's Artist in Residence Introductory Workshop Series with Sankofa Children's Museum of African Cultures! Join us for a fun and inspiring event where 3rd-5th grade students learn techniques to create a bobble head animal figure with an interesting motifs and patterns found in African art and textiles. RSVP only if you are able to attend class on Saturday AND Sunday. All materials included. Slots will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Students are highly encouraged to come with their puppets and family members to the Juneteenth celebration at the museum on Saturday, June 15th. Students will showcase their bobble heads from 2:00-3:00pm on Saturday but are welcomed to join the event earlier!
