Hello, beady friends! The Intergalactic Bead Show has invited me to teach some classes at the Cincinnati bead show this year and you all are invited!
During the bead show, starting at noon, we will be meeting just outside the show in the lobby for a spiral stitch workshop class. This class is perfect for folks unfamiliar with spiral stitch or for complete newbies to off-loom beadweaving techniques in general who want to pick up a needle and thread to see what all the fuss is about. There is no experience required for this class and all are welcome.
The class fee is $20 and payable on the day of the show. I will provide you with in-person instruction as well as a printout to take home. I will have lots of samples and examples of how bead choice and small tweaks can affect the look of spiral stitch and we're gonna have a great time beading and experimenting together.
Materials are not included, so be sure to email me at [email protected] to sign up so I can provide you with a materials list so you can either bring supplies with you or make a detailed shopping list for the bead show. It opens at ten, so you can always arrive early and buy your materials from the bead show on the day of the class.
