Spinning The Gold
About this Event
Spinning the Gold is a one-day storyfinding workshop drawing on Irish goddess mythology and Maureen Murdock's Heroine's Journey to help women recover and own their story.
Through guided writing, storytelling, and small group sharing - all held with trauma-informed care - you will look for the golden thread that runs through your own life, write it down, and have the choice to speak it aloud.

Why a story workshop ?
Because story is how we make sense of our lives, a way to understand where we've been, what we’re made of and what we're capable of. This isn't just personal work. Our story touches everything: how we lead, connect, show up in our relationships and our work.
And when women come together to tell their stories, magic happens.
This workship is for you if:
- You are curious about Irish mythology;
- Want to become a better storyteller in your own life;
- Like working alongside other women, in circle
- Have been concentrating on other people's stories instead of your own;
- Find yourself at a point of change and want space to think it through;
- Would like to write a new story for your future.
No writing experience necessary. Come as you are.

Previous Workshop Feedback
- Inspiring! I walked away from the workshop with greater insights on how I’ve come to be where I am and the person I’ve become.
- Sally's session was amazing. She makes you value your own life journey and teaches you how to weave it into a tapestry of inspiration for others. Thank you, Sally!
- Just so powerful. Thanks so much. You're great at connecting strands and letting people + prompting people to speak their truth. Something big has changed for me as a result of that prompting.
You have a story that no one else has.
Somewhere along the way, it got overlooked. Perhaps you set it down, unable to carry it when everything and everyone else came first.
But your story is still there. And it’s time to pick it up, to reclaim your narrative and realise its value.
Because the woman who knows her story knows her worth. And right now, the world needs women who own both.
