About this Event
The promise of rigorous, breakthrough climate science is the massive impact you can have by applying that science at scale. Putting your science to work outside the lab can help make clean options the obvious choice for consumers and industries at massive scale. Still, commercializing novel science and technology can be a complex and daunting journey.
In this fireside chat, Gigascale Capital Principal, Evaline Tsai, PhD will share her journey from Cambridge’s Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology doctorate program to fundraising for her YC-backed startup. Now an investor, Dr. Tsai will also share what founders can expect from the fundraising process, what climate investors are looking for and her best practices for spinning out a company. Questions from the audience are welcome!
This fireside chat will be most valuable for early stage climate tech founders or those who are exploring starting their own climate tech company. A light lunch will be provided following the discussion.
