Spine's indie book fair for authors and small press publishers will take place this year on Aug. 25 from 10am-4pm.Registration is still open. Authors and publishers wanting to participate can fill out the form on our website: www.spinebookstorecafe.com.
There is a $20 nonrefundable fee to reserve your 10'x10' space.
We have 60 participants this year! All indie authors or small press publishers--and sometimes both. (see website for full list).
Tents and tables full of books from every genre in fiction and nonfiction will fill Illinois Ave outside of Spine Indie Bookstore & Cafe (next to Benton Park)!
Inside Spine, we'll host discussions and workshops on several topics of interest to readers and writers. Please visit our website for the itinerary.
We'll also hold the Pitching Hour where writers can pitch their story ideas to a publisher for a possible book contract! At the moment of this update, we have publishers looking to hear story ideas in all genres, including Children's, Middle Grade, and YA.
We'll also have food, drink specials, and snacks. Free to the public
