Artist Bios

Anusha Subramanyam is a London-based dance artist, choreographer and curator, and the artistic director of Beeja. Her work brings together movement, storytelling, imagination and participation, creating playful and inclusive experiences for children and families. Deeply inspired by colour, rhythm, nature and transformation, Anusha’s performances invite audiences into magical worlds where movement becomes a way of connecting, imagining and creating together.

Güneş Guven is a poet, ESOL teacher, and Forest School leader who believes that everyone has a story worth telling and that the right words can help us find our way home.

Her poetry explores what it feels like to grow up between two cultures, to carry more than one language in your body, and to search for belonging in a world that doesn’t always make space for you. She writes about family, memory, identity, and the everyday magic hidden in ordinary life; the kind of things children notice but adults sometimes forget to say out loud.
