Spilt Wine Book Club is back with something a little different from our usual table discussions. Think larger group, social vibes where you'll spend a Sunday evening drinking good wine, browsing mystery books, and connecting with other readers over books you loved, and those you're yet to read.

It's simple! Bring a book you loved and are happy to pass on (from your shelf, picked up secondhand, or purchased new), ensuring it's in good condition. On arrival you'll wrap it and label it with a few clues about the story and vibe. Then lay it out on the table with all the other mystery books. You'll be able to browse the collection and choose your next read based on those clues.

Once everyone has swapped, you'll get to find the person who chose your book and tell them why you loved it. It's a fun, low-pressure way to discover something new and connect with other book people over a glass of wine.

Bar Elsie will be fully stocked with drinks and food available to purchase on the night.

Tickets: $30 pp

Every attendee will also head home with a small curated goodie bag featuring a few bookish extras and products from local Melbourne brands.

Come with a friend or come solo! This will be a chance to mingle with other local book lovers and chat about books you've read and loved (or hated!).
